What we collect
Depending on how the service is used, we may collect: recipient name, recipient email if entered, sender name if entered, sender or purchaser email if entered, message content, selected experience type, selected template, add-ons, custom slug, unlock date, expiration date, password-protection status, order details, payment references, invoice data, IP address or IP hash, approximate country, device type, browser user agent, page views, timestamps, and support or abuse-report information.
Message content
The message or experience content is stored so the recipient can open the page and so the sender can complete the intended digital experience. Ordinary messages are not described as manually reviewed before delivery. If misuse is reported, payment/support issues arise, or legal obligations require it, limited access to relevant records may be necessary.
Statistics
If statistics are enabled, we record basic view events such as total views, first view, last view, device type, approximate country, timestamps, user agent, and hashed or otherwise limited IP data. We do not intentionally store precise location such as GPS coordinates.
Payments
PayPal processes payments. We store PayPal order/capture references, payment status, totals, currency, and invoice records. PayPal may process personal data according to its own privacy statement.
Why we use data
We use data to create and host experiences, process payments, generate invoices, deliver emails, provide statistics, secure the platform, maintain accounting records, handle support or reports, improve the service, and comply with legal obligations.
Email delivery data
We use the recipient email address provided by the sender to send the experience link. The sender is responsible for providing a correct and deliverable address. Delivery can fail because of incorrect addresses, full inboxes, spam filters, mail-provider rejection, downtime, security settings, or other third-party conditions outside our control.
Cookies and analytics
We use essential cookies for sessions, security, checkout, and saved workflow state. We may later add privacy-conscious analytics to understand page views, conversions, device types, approximate countries, and product performance. Non-essential analytics should be disclosed in the Cookie Policy and, where required, controlled by consent or opt-out tools.
Sharing
We may share data with hosting providers, email providers, PayPal, analytics providers, fraud-prevention and security tools, accounting tools, professional advisors, or authorities when required or reasonably necessary for safety, legal compliance, support, payment processing, or platform operations.
Retention
We keep experience content while the experience is active or needed for service delivery, support, accounting, legal, or security purposes. Invoice and payment records may be retained longer for tax and accounting obligations. Reported or abusive content may be retained where necessary for handling the report or complying with legal obligations.
Your choices
Because this is a guest checkout service, users do not have an account dashboard by default. A sender or recipient can contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or restriction where applicable. Some records may need to be retained for tax, security, fraud-prevention, legal, or accounting reasons.
Children
The service is not intended for children under 13. Do not submit personal data about children unless you have the legal right to do so and the content is appropriate, safe, and lawful.
